Tim grew up swimming for the Carol Stream Park District where his parents, both competitive swimmers themselves, put him into swim lessons and swim team when he was 6 years old.  Tim immediately took to the water and claims to have practically “lived” at the pool for most of his childhood.  He went on to lifeguard and instruct swim lessons for the park district through high school while also competing for the Bartlet Electrix Swim Team.  Tim moved to Germany after high school where he became a member of the German Lifeguard Association for three years.  He currently attends Northeastern Illinois University where he is studying to become a history teacher. Tim brings years of swimming experience to Big Blue as well as a passion for working with children. His fun and positive attitude towards swimming makes him a great instructor for all ages and abilities.
