Garrett grew up swimming with the Chicago Park District where he was taught to swim before he could walk! Garret spent most of his summers at the pool and claims there was nothing better than jumping in the water on a hot day. A multi-sport athlete growing up, he played soccer, basketball, and water polo through high school. In addition to his love for playing sports he is also passionate for teaching. He has worked with Joy of The Game for the last 3 years teaching kids sports mechanics as well as how to keep sports enjoyable. He recently graduated from Rockford College with accounting and business management majors. He hopes to one day start a successful company of his own. He not only brings a positive, fun attitude to every lesson but also years of experience.
