Andrea was introduced to swimming when she was 7 years old and claims to have swum every single summer day for years after. She immediately loved swimming and eventually found her way onto the Boomalls Lake Swim Team. One day her coach asked her to come in on Saturday and teach swim lessons to a group of 7 year olds. At first she did not have a clue how to teach a great lesson but over time she not only became a phenomenal teacher, but she also found a passion for giving children the gift of a life-saving skill. This launched her into a career in aquatics where she has held many roles both as an instructor and aquatics director for the last 18 years. She brings a wealth of experience and passion to Big Blue.
